For babies three to six months old, you should notice your baby getting anywhere from 12 to 15 hours of sleep each day. That should include the middle of the day naps and all the hours that they sleep. It is during this time when your baby should start developing sleep patterns, which can help them sleep at the right time when they have to. You can take advantage of this time, as it is appropriate to use this time of your baby to train them. Be flexible and keep learning as the infant sleep schedule that may work perfectly now may need tweaking in a month or so as your baby gets older.
